Oops

I got an email from my husband this evening, it was his night to pick Sam up from daycare as I worked late. He had sent me a riddle. Here it is:

Solve for Y:

Car + Daycare Pickup - Y = (winter jog) x (daddy + son)

Can you figure out the riddle?
